Afghanistan is the founding location for the Ascend program. Although outdoor activity is not possible for women at this time, our program, as always, remains focused on the mental and physical wellbeing of each participant. At our Ascend Center, our women instructors cultivate wellness and leadership every day through mental health care, physical fitness and nutrition, community service, and environmental stewardship.
