Although we have been able to evacuate members of our team, we still have a number who are still in Afghanistan, fearing for their lives. There are 600 people, including US citizens, green card holders, and members of Ascend, who have been waiting on an airplane outside of Kabul trying to leave for the past two days. We call of the US State Department to help get the plane off the ground and get these vulnerable civilians to safety.
We are continuing to pursue resettlement options where opportunities are arising. We are asking that countries welcome refugees, including members of our team, and help them get the visas they need to stay.
As we continue to pursue all options available, we ask our supporters to continue lobbying their governments and sharing our story.
