We receive messages like this every day. The emotional trauma that the Ascend girls are experiencing cannot be understated.
Our role here is to not stop working until we have made them all safe and to give a glimmer of light in a time of chaos.
It is time to put aside strict eligibility requirements for visas and evacuation, and prioritise safe evacuations of those that are clearly vulnerable. We must do the right thing whilst we still can.
